(VOVworld) - The European Union (EU) has agreed to grant an additional 114 million euros to Vietnam’s healthcare sector until 2017.
At the second national forum on hospital quality management in Hanoi on Wednesday, Delphine Malard, a senior official of the EU Delegation to Vietnam, said the donation shows the EU’s long-term commitment to improving Vietnamese healthcare services. In recent years, the EU has helped Vietnam modernize its medical services to give poor patients easier access to better healthcare services in hospitals and community clinics.
