Borrell said he has met with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian in Jordan amid the deterioration of Iran-EU relations. The EU must keep communications open and restore the JCPOA, he said.

Kamal Kharazi, senior adviser to Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei, said Monday that Tehran is ready to once again comply with the JCPOA’s commitments. Kharazi said the only remaining problem is monitoring, and he expressed his hope that it will be resolved during the upcoming visit of experts from the IAEA to Tehran.
