Belgium, which holds the EU's rotating presidency, said ambassadors from the bloc's 27 nations agreed "in principle" on a plan to support arms supplies to Kyiv in 2024.  

The Biden administration on Tuesday announced a military aid package for Ukraine worth 300 million USD, which includes anti-aircraft missiles, artillery rounds, and anti-armor systems.

Russia will not attend the Ukraine peace summit to be held in Switzerland later this year, even if it is invited, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said Wednesday.

She emphasized that any negotiations on Ukraine must take place after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's decree banning negotiations with Russia is canceled, adding that Russia is still ready for peace negotiations.
