She also held a working session with authorities of Truong Ha commune in which she praised the achievements by the local administration and people in new rural development program and called on ethnic people in Truong Ha to continue the revolutionary tradition and solidarity to make the homeland more prosperous.

On the same day, Madam Phong visited soldiers and military staff of the Dam Thuy Border Guard Station in Trung Khanh district, applauded their efforts in securing the local political and social order, defending the national border sovereignty, promoting communications, and joining the locals in new rural development program.

She asked the Dam Thuy Border Guard Station and Trung Khanh district to provide advice for Cao Bang authorities to outline a tourism development plan in Ban Gioc Waterfall, pay more attention to the lives of people in border villages, and facilitate conditions for investors to tap tourism in Ban Gioc Waterfall and Truc Lam Zen Monastery complex.
