Localities will hold activities as part of the campaign from March to July.

In March, the “Green Sundays” will come to the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong, the northern mountain province of Yen Bai, the northern port city of Hai Phong, and the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho.

The campaign will be implemented in all localities in June in response to World Environment Day on June 5.

Activities will include communications on environmental protection, and climate change adaptation, and planting trees and flowers.

Teams of volunteer will collect signed environmental protection commitments, protect local rivers, build sanitary toilets, move livestock breeding facilities away from houses, and clean up neighbourhoods.
