Speaking at a conference on measures to fight Covid-19 in Hanoi, Deputy Prime Minister Dam, who heads Covid-19 Steering Committee for Disease Prevention and Control, urged relevant agencies to facilitate passengers to fill in medical declaration form at http://www.suckhoetoandan.vn/khaiyte before boarding for Vietnam.

Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long said:“Vietnam is one of leading countries that implement e-medical declaration. We have worked with domestic telecom groups to develop the system, where declaration can be made online, via QR code, and on the websites that we have provided to all airlines. Before check-in, passengers can scan QR code and fill in the form. When the form is submitted, Vietnam’s international quarantine agencies will receive a passenger’s information in the form. One passenger can declare for himself and other passengers, who do not have smartphones. Quarantine agencies are responsible for helping people fill in the medical form. Those who show symptoms of Covid-19 will be informed and quarantined.”
