Vietnamese Ambassador to Belgium and head of the Vietnamese mission to the EU Vu Anh Quang applauded the growing ties between Vietnam and the EU and between Vietnam and Belgium. He added Vietnam is one of Asia-Pacific countries that have the most extensive relations with the EU in the framework of their comprehensive cooperative partnership.
In ASEAN, Vietnam is the 3rd ASEAN country that has signed the comprehensive partnership and cooperation agreement and is 2nd country that has signed the free trade agreement and the investment protection agreement with the EU, which will be voted for ratification by the European Parliament next Wednesday.
