The three top diplomats underscored the importance of reviving serious negotiations between Palestine and Israel to achieve a comprehensive, just, and long-term peace towards establishing an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
They said they hope that all parties involved will actively participate in the peace process and strive to resolve all the problems that have undermined attempts to reach a two-state solution and establish peace in the region.
