(VOVworld) – Hanoi on Thursday held a press conference to launch a charity program in commemoration of the Day for Vietnam's Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin on August 10th. On Wednesday in Vinh city, Nghe An province, Chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Van Huy called on public servants, soldiers, workers, and entrepreneurs to donate to the victims.

Provincial authorities and the Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin of Can Tho city earlier this week visited and presented 930 gifts worth approximately 14,200 USD to victims and their families in all 9 local districts.
