In the Sunday Q&A program “People ask, minister answers”, Minister Luan said the Ministry has drafted a new examination plan, including the assessment of a student’s universal education achievements. The plan has been widely publicized for public comments. The National Committee on Education Reform will gather comments and revise the plan before submitting it to the Prime Minister for consideration. Top priority will be given to students’ interests, he said, referring to exam reforms that may affect students studying old textbooks passively. He said reform does not mean creating difficulties for students or society, adding that a detailed roadmap has been worked out for the reform plan.
