(VOVWorld) - The issue of the East Sea is on the agenda of the ongoing 20^th ASEAN summit in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Cambodian Foreign Minister Hor Nam Hong said ASEAN countries have agreed to resolve East Sea based on the principles of maintaining security and stability in the East Sea and involving both ASEAN and China. Earlier, media had reported that the East Sea issue would not be discussed at the summit. ASEAN leaders are expected to pass a Phnom Penh Declaration called “ASEAN: One Community, One Destiny”, a Joint Declaration on a drug free ASEAN by 2015, and an ASEAN Chair Declaration on ASEAN's 45^th founding anniversary.
