(VOVworld) – The draft Law on Beliefs and Religions is a legal breakthrough in respecting people’s religious freedom.

The workshop was held on February 6th, 2015 in Ho Chi Minh City

At a workshop on building this draft law, held by the Ministry of Home Affairs in Ho Chi Minh city on Friday, the participants said the draft Law on Beliefs and Religions affirms the people-centered role and shows respect to people’s beliefs and religious freedom. But they said the law should include terms relating to specific religions and to ban superstition in any forms and creating favorable conditions for religions to do charity work.
