During his visit, Deputy PM Lajcak attended the Vietnam-Slovakia Business Forum, where he said Slovakia always supports small and medium-sized enterprises, who play an indispensable part in boosting an economy and increasing export-import revenue and foreign direct investment. Doan Duy Khuong, Vice President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the organizer of the forum, said there is a lot of room for Vietnam and Slovakia, two dynamic markets with similarities in economic restructuring and political stability, to strengthen their trade ties and create closer business connections.

Foreign Minister Lajcak visited a number of cultural sites in Hanoi and attended the opening of a photo exhibit entitled “Vietnam – Reminiscence of the future”.
