In six months, the Organizing Committee received nearly 2,700 entries from 138 central and local press agencies, the Office of the National Assembly Delegations and the People's Councils, and individuals at home and abroad.

Le Quoc Minh, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association and Chairman of the Final Judging Council praised improved quality of entries. 

“This is just the second Dien Hong competition held, but the participation of press agencies is commendable. The quality also improved significantly in the second year. What we are satisfied with is the catch-up of local press agencies compared to central press agencies. The locality has more favorable conditions to reflect parliamentary policy stories coming to life,” Minh said.
