(VOVworld) – The National Steering Committee on Housing and Property Market Policy has launched its action program for this year.

At a meeting this week on developing low-cost housing to meet public demand and thaw the frozen real estate market, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai asked localities to review housing and residential projects, and halt projects which have not completed land clearance and those which don’t comply with the local development plan. Housing projects under construction and unsold houses are allowed to adjust their design to confirm to market demand. The Deputy Prime Minister said it’s necessary to reduce the housing supply and improve liquidity at the same time in order to revive the real estate market this year.
