(VOVworld)- During the year-end days, several ships set sail to carry gifts for soldiers and residents of Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province. In addition to essentials goods, the ships also carried soldiers who will station on the island for the first time. Soldier Nguyen Khac Huy from Hai Phong says that he is proud of defending the nation during the New Year. Huy says: “Each job has its own features. We are soldiers and defending the nation is our major duty”.

Soldier Nguyen Van Tuyen will be stationed on Co Lin island. Tuyen says he is very happy about defending the national sea: “I’m very proud of my duty because I was assigned to Truong Sa island. I will overcome all difficulties to fulfill my tasks”.

Another spring is coming and generation after generation of Vietnamese people desire to contribute to national defense.
