(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese government always pays attention to the legitimate benefits accruing from Canadian enterprises and does its best to facilitate their business operations in Vietnam. This statement was made by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh in talks with key entrepreneurs and Vietnamese living in Toronto, Canada on Tuesday, as part of Ninh’s visit to Canada.

Canadian entrepreneurs expressed their interest in investing in such Vietnamese sectors as oil and gas, transport infrastructure, health and insurance, tourism, and agriculture. The President of the Toronto Centre Babak Abbaszadeh applauded Vietnam’s position in the regional financial market, saying that he was willing to call international funding for Vietnam to enhance its capability in market monitoring and financial risk-prevention and management.

Ninh also met with overseas Vietnamese in Toronto. He responded to their questions about developing the links in economics, culture, and education with those living in Vietnam, in order to preserve the community’s identity and contribute to Vietnam’s development.
