The event was attended by leaders of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Science and Technology, and representatives of Vietnamese research institutes and universities, and 70 experts from 22 countries participating both in person and online.

Deputy Prime Minister Dung said that Vietnam is entering a new stage of development, where innovation and strategic technologies will be key drivers. Vietnam has clearly identified 11 strategic technology sectors and 32 national strategic technology products. The Vietnam Innovation Network, with more than 2,000 experts worldwide, serves as a hub of global Vietnamese knowledge, helping the Government achieve its goals.

Mr. Dung expected the experts to propose practical, feasible, and breakthrough solutions, and noted that the Government is establishing mechanisms to attract “chief engineers” and “chief architects” for national technology projects.
