During a working session on Monday with the Health Ministry on the national medicine supply management system, Mr. Dam said the system should allow people to check a medicine’s origin, importer, and expiry date right at the pharmacy. The system should meet the needs of the pharmacies, including estimates of each medicine’s consumption, he added.
The system is expected to connect pharmacies in all hospitals and clinics by July. This will help the health sector manage inputs, outputs, and prices of all medicines.
