While inspecting the planned project sites in Khanh Hoa province on Thursday, Mr. Son met local people and listened to their concerns regarding resettlement and livelihood stabilization following relocation.

He asked the Ministry of Industry and Trade and relevant units to speed up negotiations with international partners on the Ninh Thuan 1 project and urged Khanh Hoa province to accelerate land clearance and begin construction of resettlement areas as soon as possible.

He asked the Ministry of Justice to continue special mechanisms and policies to support Khanh Hoa province during the implementation of the project. He recommended that Khanh Hoa review the special mechanisms previously applied to the former Ninh Thuan province and compile them for the Government’s consideration.

Deputy PM Son said the Government supports the local authorities and will promptly resolve obstacles to ensure that the projects are implemented safely, effectively, and on schedule.
