Deputy PM encourages Hanoi personnel on duty during Tet

(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on Thursday paid Tet visits to officials, workers, the elderly and children at Hanoi Social Protection Center 3; officers and soldiers of the Police Department of Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue (Hanoi City Police); and doctors, nurses and patients at Hanoi Oncology Hospital.

The Deputy PM emphasized that the Party and State pay attention and devote resources to social security work as well as mobilize the participation of organizations, unions and individuals to achieve the goal of "leaving no one behind".

The same evening, the Deputy PM offered incense at the Monument of King Ly Thai To and Ngoc Son Temple Relic.

Inspecting preparations for the fireworks display in the Hoan Kiem Lake area, he requested units to ensure safety for the capital city's residents and tourists to enjoy the fireworks shows with many messages about a peaceful and more successful new year.
