Minh affirmed that the Vietnamese Party and State always pays attention to the right to religious freedom, and highly appreciates contributions made by the religious community toward  national construction.

He said he hopes that with their prestige and role, Catholic dignitaries and priests will continue encouraging Catholics to follow the Party's guidelines and the State's laws, stay united for national and local development and new-style rural area development movements.
