The election result on November 11 brought the Democratic Party 49 Senate seats, which was equal to the seats of the Republic Party. The midterm elections in Georgia and Nevada will decide what party to control the Senate.

The second round of elections in Georgia is scheduled to take place on December 6.

In related development, three Democrats in the House of Representatives, Dina Titus, Steven Horsford, and Susie Lee, won the race in Nevada.

So far the Democratic Party has 202 seats in the House of Representatives, 9 seats less than Republicans.
