The festival, held annually since 1960 in Quan The Am pagoda and at other spots on Marble Mountain, is a traditional Buddhist festival colored by Da Nang’s local culture. The festival is held from the 17th to the 19th day of the 2nd lunar month, drawing 10,000 residents and tourists every year.
With the recognition of its Quan The Am festival, Da Nang now has six intangible cultural heritages.
