People with meritorious services to the country receive support ranging from 24 USD (550,000 VND) each to 110 USD (2.5 million VND) each.

Nguyen Van An, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Da Nang city, elaborated: “We will give gifts early. Those who will receive gifts this year also include the head and deputy head of a residential area, the secretary of a Party cell, and the head of the local fatherland front. Each will receive a gift worth of 300,000 to 500,000 VND. The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs cooperates with localities to bring gifts from the President to policy beneficiaries early before Tet.”
