The event aims to honour excellent cinematographic works, encourage talents from both Vietnam and throughout the Asia-Pacific region, and widely introduce new and high-value Asian and Vietnamese cinematographic works to the public.

Dr. Ngo Phuong Lan, President of the Vietnam Association for the Promotion and Development of Cinema and Chairwoman of the Da Nang Asian Film Festival 2024, said the Da Nang Asian International Film Festival follows international standards while upholding Vietnamese identities.

“We hope that the message of ‘DANAFF - Asia's Bridge’ will continue to spread and deepen and further promote the Da Nang Asian Film Festival brand,” she said.

The Festival will organize more than 100 film screenings in theaters and outdoor public places, including at Lien Chieu district’s Administration Park, Nhu Nguyet Street, and Bach Dang Walking Street. The audiences can also participate in exchanges and talks with film crews and artists.
