(VOVworld)-All public customs services in Vietnam will go online in 2017 in an effort to further streamline administrative procedures. In addition to expanding the “one-door” mechanism at sea ports, the customs sector will apply this model at international airports as from March 1.

“We’ll continue to standardize and improve our management methods. We hope that these changes will reduce the time for clearing customs procedures”, said Le Nhu Quynh, Deputy Head of the Customs Reform and Modernization Board.

148 customs procedures are now available online.
