Nguyen Bich Lam, Head of the General Statistics Office, said the government has been successful in curbing inflation: “This is the second consecutive year that Vietnam successfully controls inflation and has good financial and monetary policy conditions. On this basis, we have adjusted the prices of healthcare and education services and electricity to match the market. Thanks to the government’s management, inflation is reined in. Low inflation means that the income of workers does not lose its value and that the Vietnamese currency is stabilized, creating trust among investors in our economy.”
