Attending a consultation session of leading doctors and professors, Deputy PM Dam thanked  the medical staff for heartfelt efforts and expertise to find out ways to treat COVID-19 patients.

He said Vietnamese people are proud of the Vietnamese doctors and nurses and what Vietnam has done in outbreak detection, isolation, zoning, and eradication, which has resulted in no fatalities and the number of infection cases much lower than predicted.

Deputy PM Dam said he hopes the doctors and nurses will continue their efforts to protect Vietnamese people's health.
