COVID-19: Vietnam records lowest single-day death toll since July 2021

(VOVWORLD) - The Health Ministry confirmed 10,365 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, down 793 cases from the previous day.

Hanoi continued to report the highest number of new infections (978 cases), followed by Phu Tho (753) and Bac Giang (556). 

The national tally now stands at 10,546,941.

An additional six deaths were recorded on Saturday, the fewest daily deaths from COVID-19 since July 2021. 

43,004 patients have died so far, equal to 0.4% of the total caseload.

By April 22, the country had administered more than 211million doses of COVID-19 vaccines.
