The US remains the hardest-affected country by the pandemic with more than 630,000 deaths followed by India, Brazil. Latin America and the Caribbean have the highest number of deaths, with 1.38 million deaths over 41.2 million infections. More than 60 million coronavirus infections have been registered in Europe since the start of the pandemic. There have been more than 1.2 million COVID-19 deaths. Asia recorded more than 690,000 deaths among 45.3 million infections.
