COVID-19 tracing app Bluezone has a million downloads a day

(VOVWORLD) - According to the Ministry of Information and Communications, by Tuesday 15.7 million smartphone users downloaded Bluezone, a locally-developed contact-tracing app that identifies and alerts people who have interacted with a COVID-19 patient. 

That's an average of over a million downloads a day since July 25. Da Nang city has the highest rate of Bluezone coverage, 34%, followed by Hanoi, Quang Ninh, and Ho Chi Minh City.
