COVID-19: National tally nears 300,000 as 9,600 more cases added Tuesday

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam recorded 9,605 cases of COVID-19 infections on Tuesday, bringing the country's total count to nearly 300,000, according to the Health Ministry.

Of the latest cases, nearly 3,600 were in HCM city and more than 3,000 in its neighboring Binh Duong province. 

The remainder were detected in a number of localities across Vietnam including Hanoi (61 cases).

The same day, 331 more coronavirus-related deaths were confirmed. 
More than 110,000 COVID-19 patients in Vietnam have fully recovered so far.
