COVID-19: More than 5 million cases reported in Vietnam so far

(VOVWORLD) - The Health Ministry confirmed 164,600 new infections of COVID-19 on Wednesday bringing the total infections in Vietnam to 5,042,036.

The same day, 65,872 patients fully recovered raising the total recoveries to 2,855,214.

The ministry also announced another 109 coronavirus-related deaths.

By Wednesday, Vietnam had administered 198.7 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines including more than 17 million doses for children aged 12-17.
