The capital city of Hanoi continues to lead with 29,578 cases, followed by northern Bac Ninh province (8,355) and central Nghe An province (7,579).  

The new infections brought the country’s total count to 4,434,700, ranking 21st among 225 countries and territories worldwide.

2,681,447 patients have recovered and 40,813 have died.

More than 197 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered nationwide.
