COVID-19 in Vietnam: New infections drop to more than 1,300

(VOVWORLD) - New cases of COVID-19 in Vietnam have continued to fall, with more than 1,323 infections recorded on Tuesday. 

Hanoi continued to lead the new caseload with 321 infections, followed by Vinh Phuc with 98 and Phu Tho with 94.  

Nearly 6,500 more patients were declared free from coronavirus and no COVID-related deaths were reported the same day. 

More than 219 million doses of COVID vaccine have been administered nationwide.
