Hanoi still recorded the highest number of new infections (141 cases), followed by Da Nang city and Thu Tho province, each with 21.  

With 9,770 more patients given the all-clear on Monday, the total number of recoveries in Vietnam now stands at  9,611,400.

Over 225 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide.
