Italy now has the most COVID-19 deaths – nearly 16,000 – followed by Spain and the US. On Sunday, however, Italy recorded its lowest number of deaths in the past two weeks.

On Sunday mainland China reported 39 new coronavirus cases of which 38 were imported. One new locally transmitted infection was reported in Guangdong province.
