The US remains the worst-hit country, followed by Brazil, Russia, Spain, and the UK.

Covid-19 cases have been increasing sharply in many Latin American countries while many parts of the EU have begun to ease lockdown restrictions to revive their economies as their Covid-19 cases decrease.  

Montenegro’s Prime Minister Dusko Markovic on Monday declared Montenegro coronavirus-free after 20 days without a new case.

Poland’s Ministry of Health confirmed that Poland has already passed the peak of coronavirus infections.

China's National Health Commission said Tuesday that 7 new coronavirus infections had been recorded in mainland China, all of them arriving from outside.  No new community transmissions and no new deaths were reported, the Commission said.
