COVID-19: 31,000 patients given the all-clear on Friday

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam recorded 16,157 new cases of COVID-19, of which 15 were imported and 16,142 were recorded domestically in 62 provinces and cities over the past 24 hours. Hanoi reported the most cases: 1,834.

Since the onset of the pandemic, Vietnam has recorded a total of 1,615,292 COVID cases. 

On Friday, 30,833 patients were given the all-clear, bringing the total number of cured cases to 1,215,261. During the day, 235 more deaths from COVID-19 were reported.

As of Friday, Vietnam administered over 143.5 million doses of vaccine. 97.7% of the population aged 18 years and older got at least 1 dose and 85.5% of the adult population got 2 doses.
