COVID-19: 125 million cases reported globally

(VOVWORLD) - As of Thursday morning, the world recorded more than 125 million COVID-19 cases, of which 2.7 million have died.

The US has confirmed 30.7 million COVID-19 infections and 558,000 deaths.

Europe has confirmed nearly 42 million cases. Many European countries have imposed new restrictions. Norway has increased its quarantine upon arrival time for foreign visitors and returning Norwegian citizens from 3 days to 10 days.

France has added 3 more regions - Rhone, Aube, and Nievre – to the list of localities with high infection risk requiring close monitoring measures.

Sweden, after the end of March, will begin admitting Norwegian and Danish travelers, provided they show a negative COVID-19 tests.
