Saudi Arabia also strongly condemned the Israeli Parliament’s preliminary approval of two bills seeking to impose Israeli sovereignty over the occupied West Bank. In a statement, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its firm support for the legitimate and historical right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with relevant international resolutions.

Saudi Arabia also called for halting all Israeli violations against the Palestinian territories and people, and reviving the peace process based on the two-state solution to achieve lasting security and stability in the region.
