(VOVWORLD) -A report linking climate change and human health was published on Friday at the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP24) in Poland, by the World Health Organization (WHO).

According to WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, there is growing evidence of the health costs of climate change, which threatens clean air, safe drinking water, nutritious food and safe shelter – the basic human needs. Climate change is threatening the global health gains of recent years, the report said.
