President Sang praised the outcomes and called on co-operatives to work closer with other economic sectors to increase the efficiency of their production and improve their members’ living conditions. “The Vietnam Co-operative Alliance and co-operatives across the country play an important role in the national economy. It is essential that local co-operatives link up with each other to help overcome difficulties and seek outlets for their products,” said President Sang. He also urged the co-operatives to scale up the production to create more jobs and ensure social stability.

In other news, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai emphasized that the Party and State always create the best possible conditions for the co-operative sector. He asked co-operative alliances at all levels to focus on human capital development.“The co-operative alliances need to improve the quality of their human resources by providing them with advice and training. The alliances should also be more active in protecting and supporting their members,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.
