(VOVworld) - Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong wrapped up his 3-day official visit to Vietnam on Friday. Before leaving, Prime Minister Lee officiated the ground-breaking of the fifth Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) in Quang Ngai province. The project is expected to lure more investment to the province’s Dung Quat Economic Zone.
At Thursday’s reception for Prime Minister Lee, President Truong Tan Sang praised the establishment of a strategic partnership between Vietnam and Singapore which coincides with the 40th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties. President Sang also hailed Singapore's stance on East Sea-related issues adding that he believed bilateral co-operation will further be strengthened in investment, trade, education, and culture.
