Joining them were network and infrastructure management agencies, internet and mobile service providers, as well as university lecturers and students.

Vietnam is undergoing a critical transition from traditional networks to Internet-of-Everything (IoE), connecting devices, sensors, and smart systems, said VNNIC Deputy Director General, Nguyen Truong Giang.

Vietnam had a Ipv6 adoption rate of 65.5% as of June, ranking 7th worldwide, he said. The country plans to implement IPv6-only during the 2026-2030period, which will unlock opportunities for internet expansion, innovation, and next-generation digital services.

IPv6 and IPv6-only models are considered foundational for an industrial internet and Internet-of-Things (IoT) applications, paving the way for innovation and research.

At the event, VNNIC (the Vietnam Internet Network Information Center) was committed to promoting international cooperation initiatives and the development of Vietnam’s infrastructure and technical capabilities. It will help Vietnamese businesses and engineers build a robust, open, and secured digital foundation for Vietnam’s industrial internet.
