(VOVworld) – A conference was held in Haiphong on Tuesday on sustainably developing Vietnam’s maritime industry. The event is part of the “Tomorrow is Green” campaign launched last year by the Dutch Embassy and Consulate General in Vietnam.
Themed “Vietnam and the Netherlands: A partnership on water”, the campaign also demonstrates the two countries’ strong and effective partnership on climate change adaptation and water management.
The conference focused on exchanging the practical experiences of Vietnamese and Dutch companies in Haiphong, and the education and training of Vietnam Maritime University. Participants also discussed difficulties and challenges during the course of the development of Vietnam’s maritime sector.
