The plan has been revised in an effort to boost tourism on the island, protect and promote its historical relics, and preserve the ecosystem of Con Dao National Park.
The revised plan meets new requirements in the socio-economic development strategy of Ho Chi Minh City and Ba Ria – Vung Tau province to create solutions to solve problems in population and tourism development, historical and cultural relic preservation, natural resources and ecology protection and national security defense.
Con Dao aims to become a tourism trademark with strong competitiveness, historical and cultural characteristics, and green and smart urban areas.
