(VOVworld)- On Monday, the EU delegation to Vietnam and the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a workshop on the management and settlement of complicated issues.  Evaluating the international cooperation on sea-related issues between Vietnam and other countries in the region, Naval Colonel Michiel Hijmans, former Dutch Deputy Permanent Representative at NATO and the EU said maritime security is a common concern for regional countries. At the workshops, participants discussed ways to cope with non-traditional maritime challenges and settle sea disputes through peaceful means as well as related legal frameworks and any lessons learned.
