At the Centre for Hoa Binh Social Protection, the province's Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Provincial Youth Union have co-hosted an exchange for joining hands to assist lonely elderly people, physically and mentally disabled people, and especially 34 orphans living at the centre.

(VOVworld) - Activities are underway nationwide to mark Children’s Day on June 1st. At the Centre for Hoa Binh Social Protection, the province's Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Provincial Youth Union have co-hosted an exchange for joining hands to assist lonely elderly people, physically and mentally disabled people, and especially 34 orphans living at the centre. Bac Lieu province has opened a forum for protecting children entitled “For a society without violence and abuse against children”, which trains its members to be key advocates for children-related issues. An Giang authorities visited and handed out 1 thousand gifts to seriously disadvantaged pupils and young children. The Quang Nam Union for Friendship Organizations and provincial administrators provided disadvantaged children with 4000 milk cans valued at nearly 50 thousand USD, donated by Korea’s Maeil Dairy Industry Co., Ltd.
